Is Christos Avatar Trading a Scam?

Not exactly!  Toby Alexander, the founder of Christos Avatar Trading is an entrepreneur who found a way to make money in a niche market and he jumped on the opportunity to do so.  The CAT VIP Room and mentorship does provide some value and I believe, if Toby has the ability to help the CAT program attendees he probably will; however, based on my own experience being a member of the VIP room for 2 months as well as my experience attending numerous trading seminars and training, what the Christos Avatar Trading VIP Room and Mentoring program offers is not worth the money that he demands for it.  This is for a number of reasons including: (1) The program did not deliver on everything it promised; (2) I consider Toby Alexander not to be an effective trainer and coach; and (3) Toby often sends mixed messages about trading rules that creates confusion among the VIP members.

One of the main things for me that Toby Alexander promised in his free marketing webinars for this program is online trading demonstrations.  During the 8 weeks I was in the program, there was only one time that Toby entered a trade online and it was mainly to demonstrate the use of Ninja Trader, and that trade was a loss.  He posted about 5 recordings for online trades that show how much money he made on these trades. I found these recordings to be mainly a marketing ploy and did not provide much educational value for trading students.  Also, another promise that Toby made in numerous online free marketing webinars is to provide a trading plan that has a 3-to-1 win/loss ratio and sometimes he throws in a 4-to-1 win/loss ratio.  I did a lot of work trying to find this trading plan and pressed Toby hard to share it with me so I can back-test it and he never did.

The Christos Avatar Trading VIP Room is not well organized and has a bunch of files that you can download and either read or listen to recordings.  He provides some files that show a step-by-step action plan on what to do during his program, but they are often overwhelming and if you do all the steps in this program you will find yourself spending 3 hours each morning just going through his protocols without a sense of direction.  His sample trading plan was from a prior student and it was 10 pages which seems cumbersome for a newbie.

Regarding all the energetic clearing and DNA activation protocols that Toby prides himself by and which I will address in more detail in other posts, I still do not have any evidence that any of this works, and in fact, there is some evidence to the contrary.  After 8 weeks in the program, I was the only person who created a testing plan and performed back testing on it and I don’t attribute my action to the protocols.  This is an indication that all the other attendees still have fears that are stopping them from moving forward.  Further evidence to the lack of effectiveness of these protocols is that Toby took under his wing an inspiring trader by the name of Alex who joined the program over a year ago to personally train him in order to demonstrate that anyone can be taught how to trade. A year later, and as Toby discussed with him publicly on his Thursday Live seminars, Alex was still full of fears, making mistakes and is not profitable in the market.
Although after 7 weeks being in the program I was his “best” performing member, since he publicly said many nice things about the trading plan and back testing that I had done, I still found many inconsistencies in his teachings (will be detailed in other posts), and when I confronted him about them he either ignores my questions, or gives me a simple answer “yes” or “no” without explaining in detail the inconsistency that I noticed.

So, all in all, although I don’t think it is a scam, I think you can find a lot better training some other places including free training on the website of the company that creates the system that Toby uses, i.e., TheTradingAuthority.com.  Look into this carefully before you decide since there are no warranties on this training and no refunds.

  1. YES, Christos Avatar trading IS SCAM, here is why.

    - Toby Alexander exploit people's strive to release themselves from routine rat race jobs and start living their financial freedom via self actualization and emotional mastery using electronic trading as a tool. So he builds good urge for everyone to participate but DOESN'T PROVIDE REAL EDUCATION FOR TRADING. Toby never said his course is for advanced traders, so people expect to learn everything from very beginning. Not the case. Total majority of people cannot be consistently profitable just by mastering their emotional state in nowadays market. They must get to know market and learn to adapt to it but Toby doesn't teach skills, and doesn't provide needed knowledge, experienced orientation and tools, so that people are simply doomed to lose money. Toby's former students arrive at the same conclusions;

    - Toby lacks TRANSPARENCY and make every possible unprofessional action you can experience in scam trading rooms: he preaches, but never shows his own trading and actual trade logs, people never see him trading, he doesn't disclose "profitable" trading rules and trading setup, he requires you to buy expensive software (hidden cost), people are not allowed to freely speak to each other, AND this one is the best - Toby DOESN'T BOTHER TO ANSWER QUESTIONS WHEN THESE ARE ASKED. Seems he emphasize ROE's (trading "Rules of Engagement") but trade himself discretionary;

    - CAT course is one the most expensive on one side at the same time giving minimum skills and knowledge to actually become more professional trader. Just like a classical example - price high, value low. Christos Avatar Course is not trading course as such, it should be called Toby's emotional conditioning course. Lack of information on trading cost people more money. It's easily possible to find better info for free on Internet compared to CAT.

    - Toby preaches about helping humanity but actually supports his friends to sell their products at the expense of his students (TradingAuthority.com, then some Forex guys). There is hidden cost in course - you will need to buy indicators for another $1,700.

    - Trading model Toby uses (by guys mentioned above) is trending model which fails completely in ES or 6E markets with under capitalized accounts and rule set ideas proposed by Toby. It seems unprofessional to teach beginners with such model. Again, he lacks professionalism, integrity and responsibility.

    I am amazed to see that Toby pretends he can take people from street and teach them quickly to use connection to Higher Self for decision making. That's simply impossible, and I know that because I work with people every day. Purification and activation processes take years to complete and require intense work for person on himself. And these "clearing codes" Toby uses is another fallacy, you cannot get cleared of your psychological and emotional problems just briefly looking at codes, as there are such things as habits, cellular memory and other stuff that must be transmuted and takes time. In the light of this Toby's actions can be seen either he (a) choose to lie to people or (b) lack common sense and responsibility.

    I think Toby is [intentionally] lost in personal actualization and should reassess real usefulness of his "programs".

    TOBY PLAYS IRRESPONSIBLE GAMES THAT AFFECT PEOPLE'S LIVES. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET PROPER TRADING EDUCATION YOU EXPECT. WITH TOBY YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY. INSTEAD OF CONTRIBUTING TO WORLD THIS FRAUD ROBS IT OF PURITY, TRUST AND ADD TO STATISTICS OF DISHONORABLE BUSINESSMAN/PEOPLE WHO USE SACRED IDEAS TO EXPLOIT PEOPLE.

    Having said that I completely take responsibility for words I wrote, and I would testify facts mentioned are true to any legal authority. I urge anyone with the same experience and views to join united effort to STOP Toby Alexander robbing people in the name of spiritual matters.

  2. I realize this is a few years later, but I completely agree with everything Andrew states here.
    I and many other's have been scammed by Toby Alexander and his DNA Perfection courses. He hides his lies and manipulation behind sacred spiritual beliefs, and words like integrity and omni-love. He has made hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who borrow money for his services so that they can get ahead in their lives, clear the blocks that he claims hold us back from living our truth, and then he uses FaceBook to brag about the money he has "manifested" to buy a new house in Las Vegas, a new Porsche, new Mercedes... There are many people out there filling disputes with PayPal and their credit card companies to get their money back because they never got what they paid for.
